You rent a property from an owner or existing operator and then rent it out on a short-term basis on platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com. The profit you make comes from the difference between the rent you pay the owner, booking and management fees and the higher rates you charge your guests. By letting us set you up with a trusted management company to look after everything, this can be a fully hands-off investment providing healthy monthly returns.

2. Why should I invest in rent-to-rent serviced accommodation?

Investing in the rent-to-rent serviced accommodation market is growing ever more popular with savvy investors. This is because it offers a fully managed hands-off investment which provides significantly higher returns than buy-to-let investments with a lower initial investment (from £5k-£15k per apartment vs £150-£300k for buy-to-lets). The properties are fully furnished and turnkey ready so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

3. How long will it typically take for my initial investment to be returned?

4. How long are the leases?

Our leases can vary in length but typically they are 2.5 to 3 years.

5. Do I have to manage bookings?

No. Your investment will be under the management of a seasoned operator selected by Rent2Rent Global. We only collaborate with operators who have demonstrated a consistent history of maintaining an occupancy level above 80%. The operator will handle everything, from listing the apartments on portals like Booking.com and Airbnb, to the day-to-day management of the property. This comprehensive service includes tasks such as cleaning, linen changes, and overseeing the check-in and checkout processes. Your investment will be completely hands-off.

6. What are the risks?

As with any investment there are risks. For example, if you are unable to rent out the accommodation, you’ll still need to pay the landlord the agreed monthly rent and demand for short-term accommodation can be seasonal, suffer poor reviews, or be affected by factors like economic downturns or global events. Regulations can change which could affect your business model whilst damages caused by guests can also increase costs.
